Beginning and end of school holidays except for the summer holidays during the 2025 –2026 school year:

31.10.2025 г. – 03.11.2025 incl. – autumn holidays
24.12.2025 г. – 04.01.2026 incl. – Christmas holidays
31.01.2026 г. – 02.02.2026 – mid-term holidays
04.04.2026 г. – 13.04.2026 incl. – spring holidays

Beginning of the second academic term during the 2025 – 2026 school year:

02.02.2026 – I – XII grade

Non-school days in 2025:

20.05.2026 – mandatory state matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature
22.05.2026 – second mandatory state matriculation exam and state exam for acquiring professional qualification

End of the second academic term during the 2025 – 2026 academic year:

15.05.2026 – XII grade (13 academic weeks)
29.05.2026 – I–III grade (14 academic weeks)
12.06.2026 – IV–VI grade (16 academic weeks)
30.06.2026 – V–VI grade (18 academic weeks for classes in sports schools)
30.06.2026 – VII–XI grade (18 school weeks + 2 or 4 weeks for production practice during the 01.07.2026 – 31.08.2026 period for classes with vocational training or with a dual education system in grades X and XI.
