ROTARY Club Sofia International Charity Event

On Friday, February 7, 2025, ROTARY Club Sofia International hosted a charity evening to celebrate its 20th anniversary at the National Historical Museum in Boyana. The “Meridian 22” School, with our president Mrs. Radka Stamenova—who is a long-standing member of the club—participated as one of the event’s sponsors.

The funds raised were dedicated to supporting the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Oncohematological Diseases in the village of Opitsvet.

Our Interact Club Sofia International at "Meridian 22" congratulated ROTARY Club Sofia International on its 20th anniversary and greeted all the guests with performances by Daria Stefanova from 11IB.

They wished the Rotarians continued success in their work for the benefit of society and encouraged them to remain a worthy example and inspiration for young people in Bulgaria. The Interactors and Rotaractors were also encouraged to follow in their footsteps.

Daria Stefanova performed "The Show Must Go On" and "Hit the Road, Jack".

In return, the Rotarians congratulated our Rotaract students for their active involvement and presented our club with the "Magic of Rotary" flag as a gesture of gratitude for their participation in the charity campaign.

A charity auction and raffle were held to raise funds for the cause, and our students represented the school at a booth, engaging with visitors and inviting future guest speakers to our Assemblies.
