A different kind of assembly at “Meridian 22”

We met the endlessly witty and warm-hearted Archpriest Lachezar Valkov, together with Velina Toneva — coordinator of the activities at the Parish Center of the Nativity of Christ Church in Mladost.

This time — unlike ever before — all the students were silent. They listened with genuine interest and held breath, because Father Lachezar never shares just words, but real lessons from life — with humor, humanity, and priceless wisdom that reaches straight to the heart.

Velina told us about the meaningful charitable initiatives and the vibrant life of the center — support for nursing homes, help for a special school, Christmas gifts for children with an incarcerated parent, numerous campaigns and ongoing clubs. True care turned into action.

Meetings like this remind us that when there is meaning, attention, and heart — silence becomes the most beautiful sign that the message has reached exactly where it should.
