She is an English language teacher with over 30 years of professional experience working with both children and adults.

She began her primary education in London and completed high school in Leeds, United Kingdom.

She has been an English teacher at “Meridian 22” School since its founding in 1993.

She has been part of the school’s leadership team since 1997. In 2001, she completed a specialisation in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) at the University of California, San Diego, USA.

For many years, she led the school’s English-language drama group.

In the IB programme at Meridian 22 High School, she has found her natural place as the IBDP Head of School Designee, driven by her belief in high-quality, in-depth international education amidst growing globalization, and her interest in building a better world through multicultural communication and understanding.

Graduated in Biology and Chemistry from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. A highly esteemed professional with over 30 years of experience in education, including 15 years as a deputy principal and a certified assessor for the Matura exam in Biology and Health Education. As a mentor teacher at the university, she actively contributes to the training and development of future educators.

An experienced administrator with a bachelor’s degree in Information Broker – resource management from the University of Library Studies and IT. Holds a master’s degree in Journalism and Media and a professional qualification as a teacher of Mathematics and IT from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Organizes and supports the educational process, fostering effective communication between students, teachers, and parents.

Daniela has extensive experience as an educator and counsellor, specializing in personal development.

Graduated in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. An experienced teacher and organizer in secondary education, she is a reviewer of textbooks and educational materials. Teaches Bulgarian Language and Literature as a core subject in the secondary education.

Master’s degree in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. For more than 10 years, she has been a Culture journalist for various print media in Sofia. Since 2016, she has been a Bulgarian language and Literature teacher. Author of educational books in verse for children. She participates in courses on suggestopedia, media literacy, etc.

Mr. Reece Buchanan brings with him over a decade of experience in the education field, from graduating “Medieval and Early Modern History” at Bangor University to his certification in numerous different thinking skills based methodologies, among many more workshop authorisations. He leads with vast experience on a subject level, a depth of methodological knowledge and experience as a supervisor and examinations officer.

Graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a master’s degree in Mathematics and Informatics and a professional qualification as a teacher of Mathematics and Informatics. Holds a fourth professional qualification degree from the Department for Information and In-Service Teacher Training at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

In 2001, he graduated with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, receiving an award for his thesis from the Open Society Foundation.
In 2005, he completed a second Master’s degree in “Mathematics and Mathematical Physics” at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with distinction.
In 2007, he obtained a postgraduate qualification as a “Teacher of Mathematics and Informatics” from the same university.

He has taught mathematics in all grades from 5th to 12th in the Bulgarian education system, and from 6th to 12th grade in the British system.
He is a certified IB Mathematics teacher, with experience teaching both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).

Works in the fields of scientific epistemology, space-time, and artificial intelligence. Holds doctoral degrees from Central European University and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS). Specialized at the University of Toronto. In 2006, he was a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Philosophy of Science in Pittsburgh, and in 2008, he received the Marie-Curie Excellence Award and joined the philosophy of physics group at Oxford University until 2010. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at BAS and lectures at the Technical University in Sofia. Author of two books and numerous scientific publications.
