She is an English language teacher with over 30 years of professional experience working with both children and adults.

She began her primary education in London and completed high school in Leeds, United Kingdom.

She has been an English teacher at “Meridian 22” School since its founding in 1993.

She has been part of the school’s leadership team since 1997. In 2001, she completed a specialisation in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) at the University of California, San Diego, USA.

For many years, she led the school’s English-language drama group.

In the IB programme at Meridian 22 High School, she has found her natural place as the IBDP Head of School Designee, driven by her belief in high-quality, in-depth international education amidst growing globalization, and her interest in building a better world through multicultural communication and understanding.

Graduated in Biology and Chemistry from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. A highly esteemed professional with over 30 years of experience in education, including 15 years as a deputy principal and a certified assessor for the Matura exam in Biology and Health Education. As a mentor teacher at the university, she actively contributes to the training and development of future educators.

Ms. Kristina Krasteva, as Deputy Director of Private Junior High School “Meridian 22”, is dedicated to the mission of providing high-quality and inspiring education.

She graduated from Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” with a Bachelor’s degree in Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy and a Master’s degree in “English Language and Methodology.”

She holds international qualifications related to teaching English as a native and second foreign language.

With over 15 years of experience as a teacher and administrator, she contributes with enthusiasm and vision to the creation of an educational environment where every teacher, student, and parent feels confident, supported, and engaged in strengthening the community of “Meridian 22” School.

An experienced administrator with a bachelor’s degree in Information Broker – resource management from the University of Library Studies and IT. Holds a master’s degree in Journalism and Media and a professional qualification as a teacher of Mathematics and IT from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Organizes and supports the educational process, fostering effective communication between students, teachers, and parents.

A graduate of the 91st German Language High School “Prof. Konstantin Galabov.” She holds a Master’s degree in Child, Adolescent and School Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” She is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Psychology at Sofia University. She has teaching experience as an English language teacher at a language school. She is committed to creating a supportive educational environment and fostering a stronger relationship between children, parents, and the school.

She graduated in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Head of the Bulgarian Language and Literature Department at Meridian 22 Private High School, with extensive teaching and organizational experience at the high school level.

She is a reviewer of textbooks and teaching materials. She teaches Bulgarian language and literature as a major subject in the upper secondary stage, encouraging analytical thinking, cultural awareness, and confident expression among her students.

At Meridian 22, she teaches English and serves as the CAS Coordinator for the IB DP.

Holds a PhD in Philology and a degree in Spanish Philology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Completed advanced training in Madrid, Spain. Currently teaching at the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology at Sofia University.

Holds a master’s degree in Hungarian Philology and German Language and Literature from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She has professional experience as a German language teacher and translator. At Meridian 22, she teaches German language in Secondary and High School education.

Graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a master’s degree in Mathematics and Informatics and a professional qualification as a teacher of Mathematics and Informatics. Holds a fourth professional qualification degree from the Department for Information and In-Service Teacher Training at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

He is completing his studies in Applied Mathematics at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” He believes that mathematics is the language of nature and the future. As a young specialist, he considers teaching in school his mission. He shares his knowledge with students by turning complex theorems into clear and engaging lessons. He strives to build their confidence in their own abilities, show them how to apply logical thinking when solving various challenges in life, and support them on their journey toward success.

Graduated from New Bulgarian University with additional qualifications from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Applied Informatics and a fifth professional qualification degree from the Department for Information and In-Service Teacher Training at Sofia University. Actively participates in training and courses for professional development, for which she holds certificates and credentials. Participated in the Erasmus+ project titled “Tablets and Smartphones: The Use of Mobile Devices as a Teaching Tool” in Dublin, Ireland.

Graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in History with a pedagogical profile from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Defended a dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Plamen Mitev. Completed several specializations in England and the Netherlands between 2013 and 2018. At Meridian 22, he teaches history in English.

Graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a Master’s degree in Geography and English. Has experience as a teacher in various schools.

Emphasizes visual presentation of lessons and active student participation. Believes that every student reveals their potential when challenged to think, and that the teacher’s role is to guide them through this process.

Works in the fields of scientific epistemology, space-time, and artificial intelligence. Holds doctoral degrees from Central European University and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS). Specialized at the University of Toronto. In 2006, he was a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Philosophy of Science in Pittsburgh, and in 2008, he received the Marie-Curie Excellence Award and joined the philosophy of physics group at Oxford University until 2010. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at BAS and lectures at the Technical University in Sofia. Author of two books and numerous scientific publications.

Worked as a Senior Assistant and Chief Assistant in the Department of Cytology, Histology, and Embryology at the Faculty of Biology, Sofia University. She graduated from the National School of Folk Arts “Shiroka Laka,” the Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev,” and the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov,” specializing in Music Education, Pop and Jazz Singing, and Arts Management and Music Business.

A professional vocalist, she has been a member of the vocal quartet “Bulgarka Junior,” the Pirin and Trakia Folk Ensembles, the group “Diva Reka,” the choir “Cosmic Voices from Bulgaria,” the vocal ensemble “Voices of Tradition,” and others. She has many years of experience as a music editor and presenter of music programs for the Bulgarian National Radio’s “Horizont” and “Hristo Botev” programs. She has established herself as an educator at Sofia Mathematics High School “Paisii Hilendarski” and NUKK. She is also the founder and director of various music schools in Sofia and beyond.

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the National Sports Academy, Sofia, specializing as a Physical Education Teacher and Greco-Roman Wrestling Coach. Holds a master’s degree in Sports Animation in Tourism. Has a third professional qualification degree.
