One small gesture with a long-lasting impact
The 11th grade students planted an ash tree, gifted to “Meridian 22” High School as a token of appreciation for our active participation in the environmental campaign for separate waste collection, “Clean Schools for a Bright Future 2025,” organized by Klett Bulgaria, which our school joined back in the autumn of 2025.
During the green school trip, the students also took part in a team-building training session dedicated to the campaign. With lots of laughter and enthusiasm, they created recycling bins and containers for used batteries, and the feeling of working together for a shared cause became truly unforgettable.
They say that every person should plant at least one tree in their lifetime. Perhaps because it is a touch of eternity and creation…
For us, ecology is not just a topic, but an attitude built through personal example, consistency, and care for the environment around us. The younger students watched the older ones closely and asked countless questions.
Today, this young ash tree is already part of the school yard — a symbol of responsibility growing alongside the young people themselves.
