Today we welcomed guest lecturers – football referees!

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Milko Nikolov – VAR Manager of football referees and Chief Instructor of the Instructors’ Panel for the Sofia zone of the Bulgarian Football Union, as well as Mr. Stefan Dzhavkov – Secretary of the Referees’ Commission.

They engagingly introduced the students to the rules of the game, presented interesting video situations from real matches, and encouraged active discussions and questions from the audience.

During the meeting, UEFA’s initiative “Be a Referee” was also presented, aiming to inspire young people to discover the benefits, responsibility, and satisfaction of officiating football matches.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Mr. Minev, our Physical Education teacher, for organizing this inspiring and extremely valuable meeting!
