Together for Krum: The Road to Yale

Dear friends, sometimes life can be incredibly harsh, and we need to come together and join our efforts to provide all the support we can. We would like to share with you the story of a dream that we can still make come true — together!

This year, Krum Simeonov will graduate from the 12th IB class at our school and has been selected to represent Meridian 22 and Bulgaria at a prestigious international competition that brings together some of the best students from around the world.

After outstanding successes in Sofia and Prague, Krum and his team have qualified for the final round of the prestigious World Scholar’s Cup at the legendary Yale University in the USA, taking place from November 12 to 18, 2026!

Just days after his success in Prague, Krum was involved in a serious accident. He subsequently spent time in a coma, required mechanical ventilation, and endured an entire summer of intensive recovery. Today, despite everything, he is back at school, working toward his International Baccalaureate diploma, and determined: “I want to finish what I started. I want to go to Yale!”

HOW CAN WE HELP?

Krum’s family cannot manage this alone. A total of €3,570 is needed to cover the participation fee, travel, accommodation, and visa expenses. Every donation makes an enormous difference, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who chooses to support him!
